At AIS Glass, we use our laminated windscreen glass product series for the windshields of heavy vehicles such as truck windshields and windows. One example is the LamiSafe-LT range, which incorporates a PVB interlayer between two glass sheets to hold fragments together on impact. For side and rear windows in trucks, we supply our toughened (tempered) glass range under Temperlite-LT, manufactured by heating and rapid cooling to achieve higher strength and a safer break pattern. These two types cover the typical glazing needs of commercial vehicles in our portfolio.
