Mr. Sanjay Labroo
Mr. Sanjay Labroo, being the promoter entrepreneur of AIS, has been instrumental in converting AIS from a one plant – one customer Company in 1987 to a leading integrated glass company of India. Mr. Labroo has been holding the position of Managing Director & C.E.O of the Company since 1990 and was re-designated as Chairman & Managing Director w.e.f. 25th January, 2023.
Mr. Labroo is a Member on the Board of various other Companies and also served as a Director on the Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India. He is also associated with various Chambers of Commerce and Trade Organisations. He is an active participant of Auto Components Manufacturers’ Association (ACMA), Architectural Glass Panel (AGP) of All India Glass Manufactures Federation, Vice President of Maruti Suzuki Suppliers Welfare Association (MSSWA) and Member of the Governing Council of University of Pennsylvania Institute for Advanced Study of India.
Mr. Masao Fukami
Mr. Masao Fukami, Dy. Managing Director – Technical & C.T.O. (Auto), is a Fine Materials Engineer from Shinshu University, Japan. Mr. Fukami has held various senior positions during his career of 32 years in the field of automotive glass. Prior to his joining at AIS, Mr. Fukami was working as Nominee Director Automotive Glass Company, Global OEM Office at Toyata Global Unit, since 2017.
Mr. Masahiro Takeda
Mr. Masahiro Takeda, Director, a graduate from faculty of law, University of Osaka, has more than 35 years of experience in business planning, strategy and management. Mr. Takeda commenced his career in 1982 with AGC and has held various senior positions during his tenure of 40 years. He is currently the Senior Vice President of AGC Flat Glass North America Inc.
Mr. Shashank Srivastava
Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Director, is the Executive Committee Member at Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL). He joined MSIL as a Management trainee more than 35 years ago and during his illustrated career, his contribution to MSIL and industry has been widely acknowledged by Industry experts. He is an Electronics Engineer and a post-graduate from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Mr. Srivastava has been instrumental in transforming the sales and marketing function at Maruti Suzuki over the years. His recent recognitions for his valuable contributions are Storyboard 18 ‘Visionary Award’ 2023 – Excellence in Marketing, Business World India’s Most Influential Marketing Leaders 2023 – Certificate of Excellence, WoW Awards – Business Leader and CMO of the year, ET Auto Retail Personality (OEM) for 2023, Automotive Leader of the Year 2022 Jagran Hi Tech Award for Excellence in Mobile and Mobility, DMA Trailblazer CMO Award for ‘disruptive marketing excellence for the greater good’, recognized amongst Business World Top 50 Marketers, Financial Express Visionary Leadership award at the 1% Financial Express MarTech Innovation Summit, ET Auto Retail Personality Award. He was also nominated and felicitated as a part of Impact Digital Power 100 – Business Leaders which features the most formidable personalities who have contributed to the digital ecosystem in India.
Mr. Srivastava is currently serving as a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Maruti Suzuki Insurance Broking Private Limited and Mark Exhaust Systems Limited.
Mr. Setsuya Yoshino
Mr. Setsuya Yoshino, Independent Director, is a Law Graduate from Hitotsubashi University, Japan and has been working with Mitsubishi Corporation, Japan since April, 1992. Mr. Yoshino is currently General Manager, Automotive & Mobility Group CEO Office. He has vast experience in Automotive Industry.
Mr. Kamaljit Kalkat
Mr. Kamaljit Kalkat, Independent Director, is a former investment banker. Mr. Kalkat has previously held several senior management positions, including Jardine Fleming India (Head of the Delhi office and Joint Country Head of investment banking), and Barclays Bank India (Chief Executive Officer). He started his career at Merrill Lynch Investment Banking in New York. Kamal is currently a consultant.
In the past, Mr. Kalkat has been involved with several landmark M&A and Equity/Debt Financing transactions. Some highlights include the first international privatization of an Indian Sovereign owned firm (VSNL GDR issue). He developed a keen interest in complex transactions very early in his career, when he was part of the team that advised Ito Yokado (Japan) on its acquisition of Southland Corporation (owner of 7-Eleven) – the largest prepackaged Chapter 11 acquisition in the US at the time. Kamal received an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University (USA) and is a graduate of Delhi University (Sri Ram College of Commerce).
Ms. Nisheeta Labroo
Ms. Nisheeta Labroo, Director, graduated from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (United States) in 2010 with specialisation in Economics and Management. She started her career as an Analyst, Management Consulting at Accenture India where she worked on a project for a large auto OEM that focused on improving customer satisfaction levels through the OEM’s dealer network. With a strong desire to contribute positively to the community, She worked at “Save the Children India”, a not-for-profit organization from July 2012 – December 2014 as an Analyst in the CEO’s office. Her job entailed preparing CEO reports for Board meetings, monthly MIS reports for Senior Management meetings, developing the 4 Year Organisation Strategy and contributing to education programs in Bihar and Delhi.
Since January 2015, she has been an entrepreneur and partner with “NIANA” a luxury home fragrance brand founded by her mother Ms. Leena Labroo.
Mr. Ravin Khosla
Lt. Gen. Ravin Khosla (Retd.), Independent Director, concluded a 38-year military career with the Indian Army, as the Deputy Chief of Army Staff, holding the rank of a 3-star General. Through a long and stellar career, Gen. Khosla has participated in various successful counter terrorist operations across India. He has served along both the Pakistan and China borders and has commanded the Kargil Division and the prestigious Gajraj Corps in Arunachal Pradesh. At the Army Headquarters Gen. Khosla contributed to formulation of HR policy and its implementation.
An Alumni of the Doon School, Dehradun, Lt. Gen. Khosla holds an honours degree in Economics from the University of Delhi, MSc and MPhil in Defence Studies from Madras University, Chennai and a second MPhil from Devi Ahilya Bai University, Indore.
His illustrious career earned him accolades, including the Param Vishisht Seva Medal, Uttam Yudh Seva Medal, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Sena Medal and Vishisht Seva Medal. He is currently serving as a consultant in an NGO and is on the Board of Governors of the Welham Boys School, Dehradun. He is also an Independent Director on the Board of Jamna Auto Industries Limited.
Ms. Sheetal Kapal Mehta
Ms. Sheetal Kapal Mehta, Independent Director, has been on the Board since 4th November, 2020. She is a Commerce Graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She has been working with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. since 1984 and currently Senior Vice President ‑ Corporate Social Responsibility, Mahindra Group. Ms. Mehta has vast experience in Marketing Department, Product Development, Business Management and Corporate Governance.
